Haunted Roommates is a short, story-driven visual novel created for the Creepy Cozy Interactive Fiction Game Jam. It blends slice-of-life humor, light mystery, and gentle melancholy into a 15–20 minute experience about friendship, memory, and letting go.

About the Game

You’re a tired university student sharing an apartment with three other roommates. The dishes pile up, snacks go missing, and someone keeps leaving weird slime all over the place.

Everyone swears it isn’t them. Arguments spark, jokes deflect the tension, and you start playing detective just to keep the peace.

But the deeper you look, the stranger things feel - memories don’t line up, people recall conversations you don’t remember having, and some nights the apartment feel... quieter than it should.

Eventually, you realize the truth isn’t about who’s been leaving the mess. It’s about who’s still here.
